One of the big excuses that gets in the way of exercising is that you have a little one that needs looking after. With our child minding service, we want to take care of that roadblock so you can be a fit parent, ready to catch up with an ever wandering kid.
Child-minding is available during the day at BOMB while you work out. This service is suitable for kids aged 6 weeks and up, unless specified.
Current Kids Playtime hours are:
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday @ Noon (Danforth)
The cost is $8 to drop-in per child, or you can purchase a 10 class pass for $50+HST to save even more (4-month expiry). You must pay for, and book a spot, before showing up.
What you should know
Children as young as 6 weeks are welcome to use this service.
If your child is sleeping when you arrive for class, you can leave them in the stroller at the front of the class until they wake up, or bring them to the kid’s room in the car seat.
School-aged children are welcome to play in the kids room.
Just as we like to keep our class sizes smaller, we'd also like to give your wee ones the attention that they need and give them lots of room to play, so please book them in early since space is limited. Please arrive early in order to get your little ones situated downstairs without missing your warm-up.
Late drop-offs to the kids room may not be permitted. Please make sure that you arrive with plenty of time to get your child settled in.
Some kids cry the first time they come to the gym (some adults do, too). We're used to it; don't worry. If they look like they are going to make themselves sick because they miss you too much, we will come and get you. Otherwise, focus on your workout.
We love children, but some parents come at those times to get away from their own. Please be mindful of your child crawling or running around before and after class.
Mostly due to allergies, no food or drink is allowed in the kid’s room.
Please note that this is not a daycare service, so you MUST remain in the studio at all times while your child is in the kids room.
The primary childminder is our fantastic, experienced Fit Kids Assistant Manager.
The kids room is in the basement of the main space at 1502 Danforth Ave.

how to sign up
There's a small learning curve in order to sign up for a membership and add your kid to your family account, but it's all listed, step-by-step, below. And once you're registered, it will be plain sailing going forward.
1. Sign yourself up for any of our trials or memberships found here - https://www.bombfitness.ca/group-fitness-new
2. Create a profile for your child (can only be done in a browser, not the app)
When you sign up, you'll receive a link to log-in to the BOMB site. Click the link in the email and log-in, then...
In the top menu, click My Profile.
Click the "Add family member" button.
Select who will be paying for all the family member’s transactions from the "All transactions for this account paid by" list.
Select the relationship "child"
Enter the family member’s information in the required fields. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk.
Click CREATE ACCOUNT.
You'll then complete a waiver form on behalf of your child. Once your child's profile is created you can use the BOMB Fitness app to switch between the two.
3. Purchase a childminding pass (or drop-in) using your kid's profile

You can also buy these in the app. Double check that you are in your child's profile before purchasing.
4. Book yourself into the adult class (make sure you are in your own profile)
5. Book your child into the corresponding child minding class (make sure you are in your kid's profile)
6. Show up and have fun!
Just a heads up that we only have 8 spots available in child minding, per class. If you are part of a parent group that would need more spaces than that, then we can set up a private series of parent & tot classes. Please call Victoria on 647-887-8674.
